By becoming a sponsor, you help fund character development and growth opportunities for Tuscaloosa’s youth. Your contributions aid in our fight against crime and provide a safe environment for the children of Tuscaloosa to pursue their dreams. Though The Lab utilizes sport as our primary vehicle our ultimate goal is not to play college or professional ball but to instill the principles needed to one day become positive fathers, mothers, and contributing citizens to society. Thru our athletic training program, we introduce each child to a strenuous process that challenges them and creates a competitive environment to show them the true power of resiliency and the importance of trusting the process. Thru academic tutoring, mental health seminars, conflict resolution initiatives as well as crime prevention programs each child is better equipped to overcome the obstacles, we all know inevitably arise in life. Each recipient is selected by our Board of Directors on a financial need and merit basis. All scholarships are processed thru The Ivy Foundation 501(c)3 (EIN: 87-1069216) and are tax deductible. Your contribution will help us to continue to make a difference in our community.
